Founder’s Story
I launched Bold Leading in 2015 with a simple conviction: nonprofit leaders shouldn’t have to walk the hard road alone.
Years earlier, as a new executive director myself, I knew I had to do fundraising, marketing, budgeting, strategic planning—but I didn’t know how. It felt overwhelming. But by God’s grace, mentors like Jim Holdman came alongside me, explained the path, and walked with me through the challenges. It wasn’t easy, and I learned many lessons the hard way.
I didn’t want others shouldn’t have to stumble through the same trial-and-error. That’s why I started Bold Leading—to help executive directors fast-track their growth and lead organizations with confidence and excellence.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping leaders develop strong teams, establish healthy principles and processes, and grow their capacity in marketing, fundraising, and strategy. What took me years of struggle, others can now learn in months.
Bold Leading exists to equip leaders, strengthen organizations, and expand Kingdom impact—so that nonprofits don’t just survive, but thrive in their mission to serve and share Jesus.

The Most Satisfying Part of Bold Leading
Most leaders I work with are deeply program-forward—they know what they want to do and love serving people in life-changing ways. But often, they don’t know how to fundraise or share their story clearly.
That’s where I come in. I get to sit with leaders, listen to their heart, and then help them put words to their passion—crafting messages, strategies, and systems that are authentic to who they are, yet clear and compelling to others.
Then I get to watch them explode with growth and joy.
When their story connects with donors and supporters—when fundraising improves, and donors become lasting friends and champions of the mission—that’s deeply rewarding. It’s the joy of seeing leaders strengthened and ministries sustained for greater Kingdom impact.
